Hip-Hop/Rap/Urban MC's flow, DJ's spin, and funky beats with the bass bumpin', has evolved from a form of music we call "Hip-hop," into an entire movement or lifestyle. It started in the streets of the Bronx, New York, where groups of people would battle in poetic free style verses and have break dancing face-offs to help discourage violence amongst the people. Thanks to rhyme sayers like Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Rakim and Eminem, the Hip-hop movement is now one of the largest genres today.
